We had a great time with the group that was there and interacting with many local friends! There were a few snags that added some unnecessary confusion and stress leading up to and during the trip that could have been avoided with more thoughtful planning and knowledge of our accommodations and travel plans. Thankfully with the work of our director, Patrick and the local PI representatives we were able to get things worked out quickly.

In short, this trip was nothing short of life changing. I feel like we saw a perfect example of a busy downtown/ residential area with Johannesburg and Pretoria. We saw the pure, natural beauty of South Africa while spending a couple days in the Kruger, we saw the amazing beauty of a beach town with Cape Town. Getting to go up table mountain, seeing the sun set over the ocean every night, and seeing the locals and their culture was perfect. Spending the last part of our trip in Stellenbosch allowed us to see the natural beauty of the country in such a different way. The scenery of the wine vineyards almost everywhere you looked was absolutely beautiful. I would change absolutely nothing about how this trip was planned of executed. This is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

We had a great time. Our concert was beautiful and perfect our tour guide, Ian, fantastic and fun very knowledgeable. The venue fantastic. My only caveat is there was almost no downtime for the singers. I would’ve liked to have had at least four hours clear to do whatever when we were in Edinburghthanks.

From the people to the music to the food. Everything was truly amazing! Such a pleasure to perform with such an amazing group and spend so much quality time with like minded performers and educators!

Everything about this trip was fantastic, start to finish. Having the opportunity to explore the country in such a beautiful way with beautiful music was life changing.
