Life changing experience with such an amazing team of people!

I think it was a great experience for both parents and kids. The spiritual growth of the group as we traversed Italy was tangible and heartwarming. Flavio is an excellent guide and brought lots of energy to those early morning starts!

Unfortunately, we had an extremely disappointing experience due to the lack of adequate planning with the flight schedules. Our group was given a flight itinerary that was set up for failure. Not one of our scheduled flights worked. For example, after missing first leg of our trip and having to spend night in Houston, we were then rescheduled for last flight out the next night with no room for any errors to take place. When that flight was delayed too late to make connections in Toronto, we were then rescheduled for the last flight out the following night. I spoke with the company several times while stuck in Houston airport, and it was quite disappointing the lack of concern for helping in this situation. With flying these days, it is imperative that you have back up plans for allowing for delayed flights. Due to the lack of proactive flight schedules, we were only able to be in Italy for 3 days of our planned trip. Unfortunately, it rained the majority of the time there which is unavoidable. However, there was no plan to pivot from the schedule when circumstances changed. For example, everyone was tired and drenched at the end of the day and told to find somewhere to eat in an hour and 20 minutes before meeting back at bus. Being unfamiliar with the area and navigating through the heavy rain, it was not an enjoyable experience. We spent more time on the bus the three days we were there than seeing Italy. Finally, on our flight home, we were scheduled a one hour connection in Frankfurt to make it through customs with 27 people. Again, this was an unacceptable flight schedule forcing us to miss our flight out of Frankfurt. Therefore, we were left scrambling to try to find our own flights back to the States causing us to get home later than scheduled. And, my luggage is still missing 4 days later due to so many rebookings. We cannot believe how much money we spent to only be in Italy for 3 days. Such a disappointment.

Not the best travel experience

This was a life-changing experience. Flavio, our guide, was phenomenal, entertaining, informative and great with the teens! We had so much fun, learned and saw so many things, and just had the most amazing time. The pace was a bit grueling at times, but we were warned ahead of time that would be the case, and I know in order to see everything we needed to see it had to be that way. The only major issue we had was with the Omnia hotel in Rome. It was in a really loud, crowded area, and in the hotel itself our room had black mold everywhere around the windows and in the bathroom, and also a bad smell of mildew because of this. Our room keys also just randomly stopped working both nights when we returned from our excursion of the day. I just would recommend not using that hotel again. Overall though, again, it was an amazing trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Our tour guide, Jitka Strnadova, was exceptional. So knowledgeable and personable. Our bus driver, Zoltan (sp) was so accommodating and every place we stayed was beautiful. 100% best vacation ever.
